This article describes how you can manage your translations and language packs. All file related management is done on the 'Files' -tab. If you don't see the 'Files' -tab, you don't have sufficient access rights. If you know that you need them, please request your project Administrator to update your user rights.
Master files are the files that are source for the translations. There are several different ways to upload and manage files but here we describe the most obvious way, i.e. through the web interface. Files can be managed on the 'Files' tab under your project:
You can upload multiple files and even different file formats. It's easy to get started with the web interface but if you have a lot of files, it might be easier to use another tool, for example Get Localization Command-Line Interface (CLI) or API. You can however also upload multiple similar files in a single ZIP file from web interface.
To upload a new file, click the 'Upload new file' link. This will open the following dialog:
Here you can choose the file, file format and language.
This is the file you want to translate to multiple languages. Select it from your file system.
This is the file format, e.g. Android or iOS. You can find all supported file formats described here in the library. If your file format is not supported and you would like to have it supported, please let us know via support desk.
Language where you are translating from. It's recommended that all your master files are in same language e.g. in English.
