Ruby on Rails YAML Translation
Get Localization supports Ruby on Rails localization files based on YAML format.
Below you can find an example of a Ruby on Rails localization file in YAML:
hello_world: Hello the world
welcome_text: Welcome text
month: # Array
month_names: [~, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr]
date: # custom date type
- !ruby/symbol day
- !ruby/symbol month
- !ruby/symbol year
- Language code in root element must match to language selected in Get Localization. You will receive an error and instructions how to fix it in case
- Our YAML parser is strict so if you get any parsing errors, it's recommended to validate it using this free YAML validator.
- Simple YAML files can be uploaded as INI (Key-Value) files as well. It's less strict.
